Get to Know Us: Hurley Oilfield Service
We specialize in supporting drilling and production services within the Williston basin. We are working on becoming a one stop vendor for all of our customers well site needs.

Well Site Housing (60 units, 65 leased)

We offer a variety of units to complete camp setups, Company Man units, Double Living units, and Command Centers. Our skid-mounted quarters come in a wide variety of layouts, allowing you to customize based on job size, terrain and weather conditions. And inside, you'll always find the furniture, linens, entertainment, kitchen equipment and washers and dryers that help your crews feel at home-no matter where the job takes them.

These units are used as well site housing on drilling as well as production. Lately we have been working to get some more production units out to try and diversify our fleet. On these units we charge a daily rental fee as well as charging for moving and set-up. Routine maintenance of these units is covered in the rental cost. On the leased units we pay the lease cost and tack on 25-50$ a day to the rental price to cover our costs.

Water and Sewer

We provide potable water for daily use (i.e. shower, cooking, drinking) water is supplied in insulated semi-trailers with 8000g storage capacity and a bathroom included in the trailer. Sewage is handled with individual sewage storage for every living quarters. The delivery of water and the removal of the sewage is included in the price of the rental. On these units we charge a daily rental fee for water and for sewer (the price varies depending on size of the set up) as well as charging for moving and set-up. Routine maintenance of these units is covered in the rental cost. During the winter months we charge an additional "Winter Maintenance" charge to cover expenses occurred for winter maintenance.

Water systems include:

  • 8,000-gallon storage capacity

  • ½-horsepower water transfer pump

  • All hoses necessary for any weather condition

  • Heated Bathroom

    Sewer systems include:

  • 1500-gallon and larger storage tank

  • Lift Station behind each living quarter, reducing call backs for gravity feed plug-ups or spills

  • Ease of mobility

    Kip Hurley: Coordinate moving, maintenance, and upkeep of the water and sewer systems.
    John Helmer: Coordinates the hauling of the water and the removal of the sewage. ?

    Communications

    We provide phone service, intercoms, and internet services. We keep two employees dedicated to these activities with service hands helping as needed. On these units we charge a daily rental fee as well as charging for moving and set-up most of these cost are billed under the rig move cost. Routine maintenance of these units is covered in the rental cost.

    Rental

    We provide a variety of Rentals:

    Loaders/ Manlifts

    On these units we charge a daily rental fee and a charge for the maintenance and upkeep of the unit. In some cases we charge for each individual attachment as well. There is a mixture of equipment that we own -- leased equipment, and lease to own equipment. Also, 8000 pound articulating loaders with forks, buckets, and stingers.

    Pumps/ Mud Vacs

    On these units we charge a daily rental fee and a charge for the maintenance and upkeep of the units. All of these units are owned by the company. Skid mounted pumps range from 2-inch to 4-inch suction capabilities and pressure washers.

    Generators/ Light Plants On these units we charge a daily rental fee and a charge for the maintenance and upkeep of the unit. There is a mixture of equipment that we own, leased equipment, and lease to own equipment.

    Trucking

    We run a variety of trucks: Tankers, Vac trucks, Winch trucks, Haul trucks and Hook trucks. Hauling water and sewer, pipe, Skid Shacks and garbage as well as anything else the customer wants. Most of this work is charged out by the hour, with the exception of the water and sewer -- the hauling of both water and sewer is covered in the rental cost.

    Clint Swiger: Coordinates the haul trucks.
    John Helmer: Coordinates the hauling of the water and the removal of the sewage.
    Kip Hurley: Coordinates winch trucks as they are needed for moving Skid Shack, otherwise they are considered haul trucks ?

    Porta Potties

    On these units we charge a daily rental fee for oilfield use and a monthly charge for residential use. We run three trucks for this work.

    Josh Burris: Coordinates the delivery, pick-up and cleaning of these units.

    Facilities

    We have two mechanics shops where we service trucks, pickups and all other equipment. We have a Welding/ Carpentry shop that repairs and fabricates equipment and units for our use.
